Fifty Years a Medium by Estelle Roberts was originally published in 1959 under the title “Forty Years a Medium”. In 1969 the autobiography was brought up to date by the addition of a chapter covering her life during the following ten years.
It is about Estelle's life, the practice of clairvoyance, clairaudience, mediumship. It describes the Spiritualist meetings of her day. This is a lovely book, for those who want a more personal account of Spiritualism as a movement from a medium's perspective.
